Derek Dunn is poised to take the world by storm. Growing up a “preacher’s kid” in the Tidewater Region of Virginia, Derek began singing in his father’s church at the age of three year’s old. His vocal gifts blossomed as he matured, and thirty years later, Derek has shared the stage with renowned gospel artists such as James Hall, Fred Hammond, Donnie McCLurkin, Jonathan Nelson, Earl Bynum, LaShun Pace Rhodes, and Deitrick Haddon. Derek has been deeply inspired by gospel greats such as Fred Hammond as well as contemporary influences such as Isaac Caree – and seeks to inspire others as these artists have inspired him. Each Derek Dunn project on the In Season Music Group (ISMG) label reveals the influences of his vocal inspirations and the essence of his style: one that blends diverse musical genres into unique worship experiences.
