"Each Other" was mixed at Prairie Sun Studios in the small town of Cotati, CA (famous for nothing more than the amazing records that have come out of that studio). The notable client list at Prairie Sun runs as long as the gear list – and this is no small feat. Each Other mix engineer Evan Hodge used what is known as “The Waits Room” (Tom Waits was somewhat of a resident at Prairie Sun for ten years) proficiently and generously all over the album - on the communal, vocal laden opening track “Rally”, on “Molloy”, - the patient, melodic, and fittingly disorienting sixth track from which the album title is referenced – and on the foot stomping and gang vocals of “Run” – the thick legato, mid-tempo track at the end of the album.
