In 2008 things were very challenging in Shane’s life. One day Shane called his friend Joseph to meet at the beach for nature devotions. Shane and Joseph desired to use the pain they experienced in life to bless others through a song called Restore. However, their efforts were fruitless for four hours. After this they prayed and God opened their minds. Joseph started to play the guitar and Shane moved by the Holy Spirit hit the record button and started to sing. Three minutes and twenty-seven seconds! That’s how long it took for God to bless Shane and Joseph with the song, Lord Set Me Free – the first single!
