Blue Ribbon's second installment of the Seven Sins project, Wrath is a journey through songwriters', Jim Gordon and Chris Ambrosino's musings coupled with sonic experimentation and tonal wanderings. Wrath is a collection of music based within the sin respectively. Gordon and Ambrosino have the other 5 albums penned and are constantly working towards their upcoming releases. The first album, Lust was released in 2014 and was nominated for Best Album and Best Song in Virginia's Veer Magazine awards. The 2015 release of Wrath, showcases Blue Ribbon's ability to connect through diverse writing and instrumentation. Drummer Steve Jones and bassist Tricia Chapman round out Blue Ribbon's rhythm section. Wrath's highlights include a vocal cameo by Gordon's daughter Claire Scott Gordon and Lovesong For Marriage Equality (Finally), a song reflecting on the fight for marriage equality and the happiness experienced by people free to belong to whomever they please.
