Card Shuffling was recorded over the course of 2017 and 2018 with mastering performed by Jason Groves at Sneak Attack in Lexington, KY. For this project, Adam Trumbo was joined by Shawn Pantaliono (drums), Kevin O'Dea (guitar), Warren Byrom (trumpet), and Chris Sullivan (guitars, saxophone). With themes ranging from personal heartbreak to tech and political anxieties, Card Shuffling spans 12 songs in a breezy 35 minutes.
