Andy Brotherton's 4th release is a mixture of originals and covers. The guitar playing is a mixture of solo & multi-tracking with various guitars used, including electric, acoustic and jazz instruments. Andy has over 40 years experience in the music industry and writes, performs and teaches the guitar in the UK and globally using Skype & video lessons. His music style evolved slowly over several decades, culminating in a mixture of the best elements from many styles. Always with a strong sense of rhythm Andy's guitar playing has strong grooves and beautiful tone, with a tasteful sense of how to make an arrangement and how a track evolves. He has played with some jazz greats including Mike Stern, Stan Tracey, Christian McBride, Martin Taylor and many others, as well as at many festivals and concerts throughout the world.
