John has been playing guitar for over 30 years. He often plays with a "The Rewinders" which performs tributes to various artists, including the Beatles' music. This cover of "Something" is John's version which adds a hint of country and Americana to the song, while keeping the melody and vocals close to the original tune. George Harrison was a master at making guitar leads their own melody within the song. John has kept true to that goal with guitar and steel guitar leads that flow with the song.
