Frequent discussions dog as to whether this is a concept album or not. Well, yes and no. Conceptually, there are thousands of ideas here. Thematically the jury is still out. However whenever we have a listening session someone is always entranced, fixated, transcendental. The funny feeling in my belly comes back when I hear the album. Considering the hours spent crafting, yet the milli-seconds needed to create and extract inspiration gives new meaning to the word 'production'. But inspiration always goes this way. The spark ignites the paper which lights the flame, beginning the reaction. I picked these songs from flowers in my garden and growing wild in the woods. The petal is the rhythm, the fragrance is the hook; the earth is stoic and content as the bass solidifies her roots. Borealis Amanita. In awe we stand at the majesty of life & creation.
