The first album from songwriter John Ludwig who turned to music after his wife's diagnosis with cancer and subsequent death. During the course of the grieving process he came to realize that the music that helped to heal him was truly meant for showing others a path that goes from grief and loss to hope for tomorrow. There is an interesting blend of sounds on the album, with tracks that range from a solo guitar instrumental to those with flute, fiddle, harmonica, and percussion. This is a musical journey through a topic often ignored, but ultimately one that everyone must deal with.
