"Way of the Drum" has been a lynchpin for the evolution of sacred hand drumming in our culture. Many people have felt empowered by reading and studying the book and CD. The grooves are a result of early touring and research around the US in the nineteen nineties by the author and are influenced by Buddy Helm's extensive experience as a rhythm and blues/rock drummer in the sixties and the seventies.
