Christine MacDonnell - A graduate of Loyola University, New Orleans, received her Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from The Juilliard School. As a soloist and clinician, Ms. MacDonnell has performed throughout NYC; Radio City Music Hall, NY Gilbert and Sullivan Players, Queens Symphony, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and Northeast Philharmonic Orchestra. Nationally, Christine also performed at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Georgia State University and at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Christine was invited to perform and lecture at the 2001 Clarifest. She also has performed outside of the USA as principal clarinetist in the Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira in Brazil and Nova Philharmonia Portuguesa in Portugal. She has served two presidents as a member of the “President's Own” Marine Band. Christine has been a member of many National Touring productions, such as Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Falsettos, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. As an active freelance musician in New York she is credited with numerous chamber ensembles and Broadway performances with artist such as Bernadette Peters, Florence Henderson, Frank Sinatra Jr., Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin.
