An exciting and refreshing new composition, "Chris' Journey, A Whimsical Collage of Music" (composed by Chris Reza) is a personal project showcasing a multitude of woodwinds, 11 to be exact! It was commissioned and recorded by Christine MacDonnell, a Juilliard graduate, international performer, clinician and Broadway regular, hailed for her beautiful playing in her 2 classical Cds, "Clarinet Rhapsody " and "Enchanted Saint Saens". She is performing all 11 instruments, representing her command of all the flutes, clarinets, oboe, English horn, and the saxophones. This Cd encompasses many styles of music, from bossa nova, Latin, blues, classical to Broadway, thus representing the variety of styles that she has encountered through her musical career.
