简介
After overcoming cancer, Atlanta native Tom Willner was inspired to channel his triumph and new outlook on life into his music. With vibes reminiscent to those of jazz, reggae, blues and even gospel, Willner’s new perspective on life is reflected through music that inspires audiences to get up and move. As an eleven-year cancer survivor, Willner writes and performs music at American Cancer Society Relay for Life functions across the nation. His music provides a soundtrack for those who participate in these annual events in honor of those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Willner’s music has even been featured at similar events in Australia and Canada. Since getting his start as a singer, songwriter and composer, Willner has released five CDs, composed a number of video and film scores, written a musical, “Turning Thirty,” and performed on radio and television. All Fruits Ripe is Willner’s sixth album, and the title track is a Reggae tune he wrote while visiting Jamaica. The song has become so popular, it even has inspired a drink called the All Fruits Ripe Martini. Other tracks will take you from Randy Newman to Frank Sinatra, with a consumer rock anthem and a keyboard-only version of The Who's My Generation along the way.
