I use to wonder about the future and foreshadow the tone of this album, knowing what it was going to personally mean to me, and never quite calculating the growth that would come along before that moment came about before completing this venture. As the years approached, something happened to me, internally/externally, and it has unfolded into my art, beyond any thought I had before it. Deep within my work, there is a feeling of wonder, a sense that I was looking for something, this I cannot deny. Truly, most of my questions were things that I didn't see answerable from anyone here on Earth. But…in all my years of searching, I found what I was looking for…and never had I imagined the answers to be so beautiful. Never have I been so humbled to understand my connection to people, to God, and nature. It has changed me, my life, my thoughts, my writing, thus, it has affected the outcome of this album. Those who know me well, know I am extremely compulsive when it comes to my projects, this hasn’t changed. I have lost hours upon hours of sleep dedicating myself to my art, and while I slave over all my work, I can honestly say, never have I put so much dedication into an album. The attention I put into the concept and writing of the poems, and musical production, even carried over to the cover art. The original cover art, was replaced with the current version, after realizing the original was more suited for another project, ‘The Book that Doesn’t Even Matter,’ which is a philosophy on Life, and our connection to God. As I simultaneously wrote the book and worked on this CD, I couldn’t help but notice how the poems were inspired by many messages in the book. With an encyclopedia full of memories, I can honestly say this ride has been more fulfilling that I ever dreamed. I am thankful of the people in my life, the ones that love me, my family, friends, fans and even those that resent me, for they are the ONLY reason I am the man I am today. My growth as a person is only because of the influences of others, THANK YOU! You ALL have made this experience wonderful! I leave you with this thought. I only hope to inspire and to make people think. Your mind is stronger than what anyone could begin to comprehend, and the things you can accomplishment is literary at your fingertips, all you have to do is reach.
