HeavensDust was formed by Shin in 2000 with the idea of taking the soul of Japanese traditional music and combining with a Western, modern sound. Each member plays an integral part in the creation of their unique sound. The mixture of Japanese and Western style that Shin had originally created is enhanced by the trying sound of the Japanese traditional instruments. It's now closer to their idea of the perfect mixture of lightness/darkness & silence/sound. THE SOUND OF HOPE : The World Rocks for Japan EP, inspired by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11th, 2011. The EP will be released and promoted in Japan on March 11th, 2014, on the 3-year anniversary of the disaster. 100% of proceeds from sales of this single, video and EP will be donated to help the children of Fukushima, where the food supply is still contaminated and people are getting sick and dying from radiation exposure every day. All people involved with the creation of the music, video and artwork have graciously donated their time and resources to this project.
