简介
Buddy Lewis has done it again! Buddy has brought his traditional country music roots to this album and expanded his style by adding some bluegrass and western flavor to the album. In this album "I'm A Country Man", Buddy Lewis displays his versatility by combining several types of country music styles in one album. Buddy Lewis grew up in Houston, Texas and was imprinted with country music from an early age. By the time he was able to get on stage he was playing country music for fellow Texans. Now Buddy Lewis is playing country music for the world. Track #1, "If The Good Lord's Willin'" was written by Buddy as a tribute to his new found home in the Ozark Mountains. Track #2, "I'll Keep Moving On" was written by Buddy to tribute the sad "tear-jerkin" kind of music that Buddy grew up listening to on the the juke boxes of the Texas honky tonks. Track #3, "I'm A Country Man", was written by Buddy to tribute traditional country music lovers everywhere. Track #4, "My Last Drink Tonight" was also written by Buddy to tribute the classic country music honky tonk juke box tear jerker. Track #5, "When I Pulled Into Nashville" was written by Buddy as a tongue-in-cheek warning to all of those country music artists who have contemplated going to Nashville to become a country music star. Track #6, "Hell And High Water" is a tribute to the woman in Buddy's life, his partner/co-writer/love Cozy McGaugh. Track #7, "Carolina Girl" was written by Buddy in response to a request to "write more bluegrass songs" by Earl Beecher, Morrhythm Records. Track #8, "Why Can't I Get Over You" was written by Buddy to be a classic "Texas Two-Step" dance song like the kind of style he cut his teeth on. Track #9, "Ramona" was written by Buddy as his tribute to the classic western song genre.
