简介
One of Country Music's newest and most played artists - Buddy Lewis is reviving REAL country music. Buddy Lewis cut his musical teeth in the bars and honky tonks of Houston, Texas. Now Buddy Lewis is in the recording studio cranking out real country music the way it ought to be. In today's changing country music scene, Buddy Lewis still remains PURE COUNTRY. Buddy has been a professional singer/songwriter for years. Now his music is available to fans worldwide. Buddy was born in Houston, Texas and cut his teeth on country music at an early age listening to the greats such as Jimmy Rodgers, Earnest Tubb, Merle Haggard, George Jones and the like. He learned to play guitar on his father's guitar (when his father wasn't looking) and soon started playing the honky tonks as soon as he was able to pass the age requirement (and some say even before he was able to pass it). Country music got in his blood early in life. Since then, Buddy has worked with some of the all time greats such as Willie Nelson, Johnny Rodriguez, Lefty Frizzell, Freddy Fender, Doug Kershaw, and many many others. Buddy Lewis is also an award winning songwriter. Buddy wrote many of the songs on his new album "Songs From The Heartland". Buddy's style is definitely TRADITIONAL COUNTRY and not the "so-called" country music of today's main stream radio stations. Buddy Lewis' first album "Songs From The Heartland" has been met with great enthusiasm from fans and Dee Jays alike. Buddy's songs are constantly on the Country Music Access Chart where independent country music still lives. Songs from Buddy's album have caused him to be a recent inductee into the WSVN Radio Hall Of Fame (Chicago). Buddy sings with that classic warm country music vocal style reminiscent of country artists of yesterday. "Songs From The Heartland" include traditional country themes such as drinkin', cheatin', Nashville, cowboys, truckin', and True Love! If you like REAL country music, you'll love Buddy Lewis' new album "Songs From The Heartland".
