Formally known as Samuel Lawton, the uprising artist is rebranding himself now as "Sam Law". Sam and his crew are hoping the new name will more accurately reflect his sound and style. The original sound of Samuel Lawton heavily resembled the sounds of bands like MUSE and the Foo Fighters. Sam has now refined his sound with a focus on "mainstream" POP. Bands like Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, and Daft Punk are now major influences of the young artist, yet Sam has not completely abandoned his original sound rooted in the more eccentric styles of MUSE and The Killers.
