For the first time ever, all the original extended 12" club versions of The Tyrants in Therapy’s best-loved dance records are finally available for download on “Dance With The Tyrants, Vol.2.” on Emotional Coathanger Records. “These 14 tracks are from the same master tapes and DATS we used for the original vinyl records,” says The Tyrant Michael, who co-wrote and co-produced the records. Included on the 14 song digital collection are the 12" club versions of the classics “Too Tuff To Cry,” “Crazy Dreams,” ”Paint It Pink,” “Call of The Wild,” and 2 mixes of "Sweet Magic." And there's a bonus for Italo Disco lovers around the world: "Perfect Love," TIT's newest record, gets a passionate remix by Thomas Bainas, the talented DJ/producer/composer from Greece. “It brings back so many great memories from the 80s and early 90s," says TIT lead singer AbbeAbbe. "But it wouldn't be a Tyrants record without a few surprises," notes The Tyrant Michael, "In the 90's, after Hi-NRG went out of style in the U.S., we didn't stop making dance records, we just went a little underground. So on this collection, we've included Boris Granich's Boyris remix of "Boy" from 1995, and the Strip Down Club mix of "Sex Bomb" from 1992. Plus as a bonus, we've unearthed 2 previously unreleased tracks from the vaults of our Tyrannical imagination, "Take Off Your Clothes" and "No One Dancin," an old school Hi-NRG track from 1985, the same era as "Paint It Pink." This newest Emotional Coathanger release is unique in that it encompasses all the twists and turns of the Tyrants' entire body of work on record. It's a career that began in the early 80's with the original Super Scratch mix of "3 People Nude Below the Waist" (1984), and continues to go strong with "Perfect Love" (2013). "Michael and I listened to the entire compilation straight through while driving around Los Angeles," says AbbeAbbe, "and I was amazed by how diverse it is.
