Instrumental Christmas is the holiday CD released by Virgil Work, Jr. featuring jazz, R&B,and orchestral instrumentals. This collection of some of the traditional holiday favorites includes upbeat versions of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! and Deck The Halls. Virgil also incorporates harp, brass, strings, woodwinds, bells and congas to produce soft, smooth and orchestral interpretations of The Christmas Song(Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire), White Christmas, O Little Town Of Bethlehem and O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. Virgil employs his serious beats on several tracks including a progressive New Age rendition of Do You Hear What I Hear. Virgil's jazz influence emerges with the swinging sax, trumpet and trombone in Winter Wonderland. Virgil Work, Jr. is a producer, songwriter, musician, vocalist and artist. He has been deeply involved with music over the years and has written hundreds of compositions. Virgil's specialties include production, serious beats and percussion. Virgil's music has received airplay and sales in the United States, Canada, Japan and France. Virgil co-founded the group A Work Of Art with his brother S.Work and co-founded the industrial group Workdub with Nick Georgieff.
