“Lost in the City” was written based on Anna's observations (as a country person spending time in the city of the first time) of city life for vulnerable people. Anna was moved as she observed and learnt about homelessness and the irony of being isolated and lonely within a mass of people. Anna's vocal coach encouraged Anna to record this song whilst being literally in the dark, the result is a vulnerable vocal treatment and thought provoking song about life in cities. The song has received fantastic feedback and was launched and featured on the national radio program 'OzMade'.
