The message of Never Mistake came about through a college chapel message heard years ago by composer, Karen Burkhart. The chapel speaker said one line, "Never mistake the silence of God for the absense of God", and it stuck! Over the years, as Karen has lived her life in search of God's guidance and truth, often begging for God to "write it on the wall", this one phrase has often come to mind. It's Karen's hope that the message of this song be an encouragement for all who wonder where God is in the middle of their difficult circumstances.

Karen is joined by a fellow Canadian Recording Artist and friend since her teens, Kevin Pauls. Kevin's voice adds richness and passion to this recording.
