Released in 2008, The Fall proved to be a deeply personal project for composer Dustin White. A dedication on the inner sleeve of the CD reads from Dustin to Daniel Huffman, a close personal friend who passed away in 2004. The music itself is a deeply moving musical journey starting with a sweet, stirring waltz for piano called The Last Waltz. Following this are some of the most beautiful, though sometimes haunting, instrumental pieces ever complosed including Baby Step, Distance and Regret. The CD ends with a rousing, upbeat dual-piano piece called Around the Corner. The Fall continues to stir souls all over the country and is treasured by those who have heard it.
