A CD that’s “Even Better Than Chocolate”? Isn’t that heresy? No! It’s Hershey’s! ABOUT THE CD The EVEN BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE CD is a tasty collection of original songs that melt in your mouth. Kay Pere’s song writing and performance will take you on a sweeping musical journey touching every human emotion along the way. Like a box of chocolates, each song has a flavor all its own. Produced by Grammy Award winning engineer and producer Michael Hopkins at Treasure Isle and the Cove in Nashville, TN, Kay Pere’s EVEN BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE CD shows the versatility of some of the worlds best musicians. [They do a lot more than Country Music in Nashville!] Hopkins has worked on Music Row in the Nashville music scene for almost 20 years, winning a Grammy for his audio production work with Sheryl Crow on her song "Long Gone Lonesome Blues". The tracks on this CD include inspired performances by such noted musicians as percussionist/drummer Bobby Siegler [drummer from Tricia Yearwood's band] and multi-instrumentalist/string player Jonathan Yudkin [2006 Nashville String Player of the Year]. This professionally duplicated CD includes a fold-out lyric insert printed on pale purple sparkle paper, full color photos and original artwork not available anywhere else. NET PROCEEDS from the sale of this CD benefit hunger relief and social services through LUNCH [Local United Network to Combat Hunger]. http://www.lunchensemble.com ABOUT KAY PERE KAY PERE [rhymes with bayberry] is a multi-dimensional performing songwriter, visual artist, writer, educator and activist whose work embodies a message of hope, healing and humanity.
