简介
In December 1988, two months after the release of his RCA debut album "Blind To Reason", singer/songwriter/pianist Grayson Hugh did a Solo Tour of twelve U.S. cities. Orchestrated by RCA, Hugh did concerts, featuring just himself on piano and vocals, at world class studios in New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, Cleveland, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, and Detroit. The shows were catered affairs and the audiences were invited guests from key record store chains as well as major radio stations. This song, “That’s Cool”, from “Blind To Reason”, was from the show at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles, California. "Daryl Booth, RCA director of national sales, said: ‘Grayson has generated such goodwill, and these shows have left the audiences literally with their mouths hanging open in astonishment at Hugh's raw talent, his incredible songwriting, singing and powerhouse piano playing. Retailers and Radio have adopted him as an artist they like and they're hot to help him out. They - and the folks at RCA - are committed to Grayson for the long, long term.’ ” - BILLBOARD Magazine, December 10, 1988
