Shameless was almost taken away by a massive, inexplicable infection and Skidd Wong kept rubbing his greedy little hands, ready to cash in after the funeral. But it didn't go down that way. Skidd's producer was fired and garage supergroup Crazy Hearse were brought into give the project some life and urgency.
