With his debut release, "the Light EP", Saint-Louis-based worship leader Benjamin Jude brings a tangibly authentic perspective to modern worship. His four-song EP includes three soulful and stripped-down live performances of original pieces, rounded out by a taste of high-production worship. We are introduced to Jude's music through an accessible adaptation of Psalm 4 in "Let Your Face Shine Down", a hauntingly welcoming invocation in "Flicker" featuring supporting performance from co-writer and local worship leader Adam Bitter, and a mantra-meditation in "We Fix Our Eyes On You", all capped off by exhilarating full-band rock 'n roll rendition of the classic hymn "O God, Beyond All Praising". Benjamin Jude's lyricism and musicality are as diverse as they are deep, and you can look forward to a rich and unique worship experience in "the Light EP".
