For Christmas Tim was going to give his wife Brandi Carlisle tickets. She sold out in like a day. Yay for Brandi. Bad news for Tim... As a result, this album was born. Some of the recordings are old, low-fi endeavors, some are from previous albums, some were newly recorded the week before Christmas with a double-bass in a makeshift studio (as long as it was a secret kept from Betony!) All of the songs are snap-shots of moments in Betony and Tim's life together. The Trillium EP is a collection of love songs. The tunes are intimate, whimsical, heart-felt and are the soundtrack to "a couple wrestling through love".

And, yes, she cried a little when she opened the present.
