Una caricia al corazón, Caresses for the heart.- My music speaks from the heart and also touches the heart of the Listener- whatever their musical preference may be. I am inspired by my inner world and relate my experiences through music. These can be the untimely death of a loved one, the flight and joy of a hummingbird or the bonding links of love and the sad separations when these bonds are broken. I want to transmit beauty and harmony to alleviate the chaos which predominates in our world today. Caresses For Your Heart brings together two different styles of making music: classical music techniques and improvisation. Exploiting unusual resources on the piano such as composing exclusively in low registers as in “Oceánica”, or only in high registers as in “Colibrí”. My sounds of “Tambor de Tierra” echo the sound of African drums. ....”and suddenly, under the spell of your notes, my childhood becomes liquid crystal that flows through an inner laberinth where one sometimes gets lost and your music allows us to find ourselves again”...
