简介
Laura Curtis, originally from Sisters, Oregon, carries on the tradition of emotive song writing rooted deeply in the folk, Americana music she grew up listening to. Laura had immense opportunities as a student of the Americana Project, the educational outreach program of the Sisters Folk Festival. She has worked with and been mentored by women songwriters in the folk tradition, including Meg Hutchinson, Susan Werner and Ruthie Foster. After graduating from Willamette University with a degree in Politics and Women and Gender Studies, Laura moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she honed her songwriting chops with her mentor, Amy Speace and recorded this 5-track EP with Nashville producer, Neilson Hubbard.
