Geek Rock/Garage Pop act D&D Sluggers take the stage with Nintendo beats, a guitar and mic, ready to rock crowds. Using two Nintendo DS handhelds, funky guitar licks, combined with lyrics about life experiences and geek culture , D&D turns the room into a party inviting everyone to dance and sing to new wave, punk rock, and hip hop inspired songs.

Formerly a duo, D&D Sluggers have taken the party everywhere, from touring both coasts, the midwest, to playing festivals such SXSW, MAGfest, Hopscotch Nerdpalooza and CMJ. D&D has shared the stage with such acts as Peelander-Z, Shinobi Ninja, ProfessorShyguy, Afroman, Danimal Cannon, Protomen, Hawthorne Heights, Mega Ran, Bit Brigade, Amanda Lepre and MC Lars. D&D continues to rock parties and shows as a solo act, and HOT BANANA is the debut of what Soultron (Tim White) has been cooking up. While the party vibe is still evident, the album is thematically hot blooded, Partly written on the road, the songs and album reflect the desire to break boundaries and fight genre norms.
