I'm thinking of getting our super-cool new Pres to sponsor a bill that would require all future cds to be titled Ukulele Bitchfight. We could number them sequentially, so that, say, Dylan's Ukulele Bitchfight # 27 would be differentiated from The Royal London Philharmonic's Ukulele Bitchfight # 127 in D major. I'm sure I would not stand alone in this endeavour. ( Bill Kirchen )

This album is full of the sounds I love; guitars twang and tremble, the upright bass thumps and swoons, the drums swish and rumble, the fiddle sings and the piano laughs, the harmonica has a mind of its own, the pedal steel sparkles and the ukulele chimes, and I put my heart in my mouth and pour out what I feel, know and believe. It's a bit country, a bit rock'n'roll, a bit folk, a bit pop; it's all me and I'm proud as hell of it.
