Matt McChlery's third recording project, A Deeper Longing was brought about by preparations for Matt to appear on a UK music TV show on Christian TV channel UCB TV in early 2011. This recording developed into a 5-track mini-album (EP) of acoustic versione of some of Matt's most popular worship songs that are already being played in chruches in the UK and beyond. The more intimate sound and the slower feel of the tracks lend themselves to a more intmate and delicate worship encounter. Matt launched this new EP in November in a cosy local cafe, people sipping on lattes and their hearts and minds turned towards God - a fantastic and tender encounter! All songs on the EP have been successfuly road-tested with congregations to make sure they work well within a church setting. Free chord charts and audio samples are also available on Matt's website so you too can print them off and start using the songs in your local church!
