Carey has also released three instrumental guitar albums. “Evening Light” is under artist name of Carey Parder and is described as a meditative album featuring finger-style guitar textured with rich layers of ambient background music. "Mirage" and "Passages" are under the duo name WilliamCarey, (William Wilton and Carey Parder) and also provide relaxing easy listening. "Mirage" moves from a folk/classical sound into ambient themes, Latin flavors and back to quiet fingerstyle compositions. "Passages" is warm blend of light classical & jazz guitar. HummingBird’s experience composing and producing music spans a diversity of projects including feature length film, TV drama, documentaries, commercials, and album projects. As a performer Carey has played guitar many years in a variety of bands, duos and theater ensembles and continues to enjoy writing and performing.
