简介

THE TRUE BROTHERS ARE THINKING "OUTLAW" AGAIN Jack, Jr. and Roger True have just re-released songs from their 2005 album "Wanted: Country Outlaw Tribute", which was one of the boys best sellers. The album that salutes the "Outlaw" movement of the 1970s has a new title this time around which is "True Brothers Outlaw: The Two Most Wanted", for the new year of 2010. With songs like: "Marie Laveau", "You Never Even Call Me By My Name", "Take This Job And Shove It", "Mama's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys", numbers made famous by the like of Bobby Bare, David Allen Coe, Johnny Paycheck and Waylon & Willie. "Take This Job And Shove It" was of course Paycheck's angry working man's theme, that made him a hero among the blue collar working class. Plus some songs made popular by Moe & Joe "Just Good Ol' Boys" and Joe Stampley's solo hit "Double Shot {Of My Baby's Love}" and if that's not enough the True's even throw in three originals like "Country Outlaw Tribute" which use to be the title track, "My Witness Is Jack Daniels" which Jack wrote with songwriter Rickey Dunn and "I Brake For Pickup Trucks, Gun Racks and Confederate Flags". Jack's baby brother even takes lead on four of the CDs most rockin' songs like the southern rock anthem "I Brake For Pickup Trucks, Gun Racks and Confederate Flags". Roger even takes his hat off to a fellow Greensboro, North Carolinan, known oas Mr. Country Rock, Billy "Crash" Craddock from the True's home town, of "Rub It In" fame. In fact the song that's been down loaded the most is Roger's own version of Ronnie McDowell's "Older Women", from this album believe it or not. Guess the girl's that are over 25 just love the heck out of it. "This is the music we cut our teeth on" says Jack, the older brother. "We're excited abut having this old CD album back out, repackaged with an extra track and all. It gives us a chance to go back in time and let people hear us sing some of the songs we grew up singing". "And it gives us a chance to return to our roots" says Roger. We hope that the fans out there in listening land take to these songs on this album the second time around and that these old outlaw classics from the past reach out to a whole new generation of country music fans.
