Singer-songwriter Ross Crean releases a piano-infused holiday song, based on an old pagan winter story.

The Winter King was in love with the May Queen, but unfortunately, could not be near her, for they were destined to be on opposite sides of the year. An old holiday tradition in England is leaving a candle laced in red twine in the front window, which would call the Winter King to its light. The Winter King could then feel what his distant love would feel like by feeling the candle's heat through the window. By this favor, the Winter KIng would bless the household with protection from his furious weather.
