Dark lyrical themes and musical tension set the stage for the tale of a deity gone mad and the resulting apocalypse. The band utilizes techniques from many different styles of music, including elements of folk, technical, black, and death metal.

Appearing on "The Treacherous Fall" is the band's standard lineup of two guitars, drums, bass, three unique voices, and flute. The singers bring the sounds of a full range of harsh vocals and both male and female cleans. In addition, there is the presence of piano work in select songs.
