Endlight combines a number of influences to offer the music world something fresh and original. Long songs with complex and layered composition make for a varied listening experience spanning many subgenres of heavy metal. This three-track EP is the group's first professional foray into the world of recording. Endlight first formed back in 2014 in Boulder, Colorado, but since then has undergone several lineup changes to reach where they are today, refining their sound and playing in around the Denver music scene, building a name for themselves. The group consists of all the elements of the classic heavy metal band: two guitars, drums, bass, and harsh vocals. However, they shake it up by also including a flautist and both male and female clean vocals in their mix. These additional layers allow the band to write with more flexibility and bring something new to the table. All of the music that Endlight writes is set in a concept universe of dangerous magic and warring gods. This story is told throughout the lyrics and melodies of their songs. Each member performs under a stage name that correlates to a major character within that story, and they take this energy to stage with theatrics and costumes so as to further immerse the listener in their world.
