Farmer Jason is the creation of Americana Music legend Jason Ringenberg of Jason and the Scorchers. Ringenberg created Farmer Jason in 2002 to entertain his own young daughters. To his delight the character has become the most successful project of his career.

Farmer Jason won an Emmy for his PBS video short program as well as 4 Emmy nominations. He tours the world singing to kids and families. It is a good gig!

Christmas on the Farm with Farmer Jason is his 4th record as Farmer Jason. Recorded in Nashville with Grammy nominated Peter Cooper and Thomm Jutz producing, the record contains guest appearances by Webb Wilder and Kristi Rose. The musicians on the record are some of the best in Nashville.
