Founded in late 2011, Urban Legends are a rock/pop/black/doom/sludge/hardcore/folk band. This, their first E.P. "The Horror, The Horror..." was released in April 2013 and was supported with a number of full band shows as well as acoustic performances. This E.P. was supported with the artwork of Patrick Lynch, a well-known independent comics artist in Dublin, Ireland. The songs were crafted through a long, cold winter in 2012 in living rooms, bedrooms, and rehearsal studios. The physical product represents a labour of love, with blood-spattered vinyl, hand-drawn lyrics cards and original art all included. The band are currently working in different guises and have been known to perform and record under a variety of different names and across multiple genres. Forthcoming works include a full-length album by ageing punk rockers, Pisswater, an E.P. by country troubadour Hopeless Drug Fiends, a high-octane metal opera called Creep City by Insect Eyes and the 32s, a doom/sludge album from Lake of Witches and a re-issue of the lost/forgotten album The Dreaded Sacred Dirt.
