I consider myself an alternative Christian artist. Out of the four songs, Broken Mirrors and Teach Me are explicit Christian songs. Letter To Her mentions prayer and God, but is not necessarily about Jesus. One Week is an alternative love song. Broken Mirrors is an acoustic hip-hop song born out personal pain, reflection on idols in my life, and then the hope that comes through. Teach Me is a prayer, presented to God in a raw attempt to express my attempt to become a better man and grow in Jesus. Letter To Her is a letter to my future wife. It is the final of 3 or 4 attempts to do so, and is personal and reaching. It is an expression of hope for the future. One Week is about a girl I met on a mission trip that I developed a big, albeit short-lived, crush on.
