Too many people run away from God because of the high and mighty impression they get from Christians. Too many people only know of the prideful and smug Christian who looks down on them for not being as holy. There are too many Christians who don't let people see the real darkness and pain in their life -- and how God is a mighty Healer in spite of that pain. They don't let people see how God draws people to a life of selfless righteousness, certainly not because they are strong, but because they invite Him to work in their hearts. Disease only gets worse if it is not treated. Darkness thrives when it is covered up. The mask grows comfortable where it is.
