English Bio: La Obra De Marte is a band from the island of Puerto Rico. This band arrives with a mix of pop punk with heavier sounds, and guitar solos while maintaining clean vocals singing style. Formed officially under the name La Obra De Marte in 2012 by their founding members Emmanuel Rivera and Jose (Jowy) Berrios, they created a home recorded EP consisting of five songs called "Soñadores Diurnos Amantes Nocturnos" (Daydreamers and Night Lovers). The acceptance of that E.P. was so good that they decided to jump into a full album with a lot of new ideas they were working on. This band is influenced by bands like Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Panic At The Disco, Pxndx, Insite, Finde, La Secta, Black Guayaba, Maná, The Killers, and even guitar shredding. Now in Octuber 2017 they release the first part of their full work called "Las Dos Caras De La Moneda Part 1: La Cara", as it states, this 8 track E.P. is the first part of a concept two E.P. effort. It is expected that the next E.P. called "La Cruz" will be released in 2018. Band members are: Emmanuel Rivera Santiago (Vox), Juan Pablo (Ito) Figueroa (Ito Drums), Jowy Berrios (Guitars), AJ Rivera (Bass), Pete Holliday (Rhythm Guitars) Spanish Bio: La Obra de Marte es una banda de la isla de Puerto Rico. Esta banda llega con una buena mezcla de pop punk y riffs pesados, solos de guitarras, pero sin perder la sutileza de una voz limpia. Se formaron oficialmente bajo el nombre de La Obra De Marte en el 2012 por sus integrantes fundadores Emmanuel Rivera y Jose (Jowy) Berrios, y crearon un E.P. grabado de forma casera que consistía de cinco canciones originales llamado "Soñadores Diurnos Amantes Nocturnos". La aceptación de tal E.P. fue tan buena que ellos decidieron formar una banda completa y grabar un album con muchas de las ideas que ya tenían formadas. Esta banda es influenciada en su musica por bandas como Fall Out Boy, Black Guayaba, La Secta, Panic At The Disco, The Killers, Pxndx, Insite, Finde, Thirty Seconds To Mars, y hasta guitarristas shredders como Paul Gilbert. Ahora en Octubre del 2017 lanzan al mercado su nuevo E.P. titulado "La Cara" la cual es la primera parte de un trabajo completo de dos partes titulado "Las Dos Caras De La Moneda". EL próximo E.P. despues de este se titulará "La Cruz" como continuación y cierre de este concepto. Actualmente los integrantes Jowy Berrios (Guitar), Emmanuel Rivera (Vox), Juan Pablo Figueroa (Ito Drums).
