His music career started at the tender age of 11 with a single entitled "Merry-Go-Round" that not only launched him into the world of dance music but onto the club charts— peaking at #3 on the UK Club Charts and holding the position for 7 consecutive weeks. He performed in several east coast venues, including 2002’s Party 93.1 FM Summer Jam in Miami .
