Men Of Note, a male vocal ensemble performs primarily acapella, inspirational arrangements and original compositions. Together for over three years, the group's first commercial release, "What A Friend" blends the latin-jazz stylings of guitarist Ramon Stagnaro in a bossa-nova treatment of an old favorite hymn. The effect has made this selection a favorite of the Group's audiences. Men Of Note membership includes: Phil Grayson, Tenor; Glenmar Flores, Tenor; Byron Johnson, Tenor; Darryl Banner, Baritone; Bicko Fenta, Baritone; Tonna Anuligo, Bass. In performance and on several tracks, including What A Friend, the Group is joined by percussionist, Demetri McKay.
