In a recent interview, Young Slay revealed some people call him Trinity for having 3 monikers- Young Slay, Mèt Piwèt, and Ti Bagèt, each with distinct personalities. The rapper kicked off 2016 with a sense of urgency releasing 4 videos from the album GKNM: Granmoun Ki Nom M' within 30 days. The videos received over 240, 000 views on his verified Facebook page in less than 3 weeks with no media coverage. Recently, Pandora radio added GKNM: Granmoun Ki Nom M’ to their Music Genome Project as the first Creole rap album. Young Slay has been operating independently in South Florida for a decade and has launched his record label Piwet Everything with his latest album release.
