简介
Dersonna AKA Iain Anderson was picked up by 3rd Abstract Records in 2010 ahead of the labels launch and the plans have continued to grow for the Glasgow based techno producer. With massive support from established DJs and producers, complimented an amazing club slot in Ibiza, things are showing no signs of slowing down for him. The young producer and DJ will also be become a regular at the labels own monthly club night in Glasgow, exposing him to yet more techno-hungry club-goers. Dersonna's excellent production along with the tribal and minimal aspects of the underground techno scene, make the Atmos EP a big one for the label early on in the 3rd Abstract catalogue. The EP begins with title track Atmos. The track arrogantly swaggers into the listening space, creating an atmosphere of a dark, dank underground club. If anyone is looking for a great first impression from a producer, this is the prime example, the percussion creeping up and fading away creating a mass whirlwind of activity that you literally can't stop listening to. Khaki provides a more tribal feel with the congas and deep percussion continuing the persistent groove from track 1. This again proves Dersonna's dance floor worth with flair and excellent pretence, creating a sound reminiscent of that of the techno imprints from Detroit which are remembered fondly by fans worldwide. The old school techno feel is continued with Cut 'N' Paste. Anderson produces an authentic hip-hop-esque vibe which pays tribute directly to the early pioneers of this style of dance music. The repetitive vocals of SwaySeed bring listeners back into the 21st Century with yet another underground floor filler which will keep clubbers dancing deep into the night.
