Malmas's 3rd album, "Dark Skies", is a double album which continues the development from the previous "Moments of Reason" album, but is given a more progressive feel with more emphasis on the instrumental layers, structures and virtuosity, giving the songs more time to breathe and develop. This is shown particularly in the number of recurring themes which are included within the album culminating in the final epic track "Concepts".
