Painted Raven is a contemporary Native American and World Music project led by Annette Abbondanza joined by other musicians. Their second CD titled "Mirage", is comprised of eleven original songs featuring Native flutes, guitars, keyboards, ethnic percussion instruments and drums. The music is an eclectic blend of the ancient Anasazi, South American and Native American flutes, various cultural drums and world percussion, along with modern day instruments and musical styles. The compositions range from briskly stimulating to the senses, as well as calming, reflective, meditational, and healing.
