Iridium Project – Shindig EP Another debut on the label from an outfit that has multiple contributions to this platform, here we have the Iridium Project in a rare sans vocal cut. The Iridium ‘A-Team’ of musicians and producers feature here with Craig De Sousa, Nick Matthews and Riccardo Moretti all contributing to both sides of this coin. Side A ‘Get You Lifted’ will do exactly that, an infectious disco track that kicks off from the word go. Although released on H&T as a dub version, this track was a staple in Iridium sets countrywide with Lu Chase offering vocal improvisations during live shows. Side B ‘Around Q’ is the bullish big brother and the perfect flip-side to its counterpart. The filth-fueled bass-crunching intro is a sure sign of things to come, and its understandable why this was a firm favourite of the band’s for use as an encore at the end of live sets.
